Beginnings The site got started on AOL in late 1998 and was an Indiana Jones site titled "we want Indy 4". Myself and some other fans from the alt.harrisonford newsgroup thought it would be fun to have a place online to share Indy tidbits and also have a petition page to get Indy 4 made. (see, it worked!!) :) Right when Random Hearts began production, I noticed that there was not a Harrison Ford site covering the latest developments of this project. A couple of them were just showcasing set photos but not other bits of filming. This is when I decided to purchase a domain and give it a go. A domain is born In February 1999 the domain harrisonfordweb.com was purchased and thus began my attempt at covering Harrison movie news. I wanted it along the line of movie sites where the format was: -headline news summary on main page -a separate page for each movie and -a news archive page. That was it, just three little pages. God how I miss those days! A merger The site merged with the European based site http://www.harrisonfordmedia.com on January 1, 2006. Too many to thank After all this time, the amount of people who have contributed news, photos, other info, suggestions, money, encouragement, etc. has been enormous. In a way I wish I would have kept a personal diary of names, but in the end, they know who they are and without them, this site would not have lasted one year. All those design changes One thing is for sure, the site has gone through many design changes just because I find this aspect of web administration a great learning tool and believe it or not, it is fun.
