He did look very happy tonight, lots of nice big head shots:D
which made me very happy tonight also~;)
...come on Eileen...you know why she's ticked.....she had to sit in that little car. You know what she was thinking "here I am with the biggest star in Hollywood, my big nite out at the Oscars and HE WANTS TO MAKE A POLITICAL STATEMENT.. couldnt he find a limo that runs on electricity" YOU KNOW that's what our gal Cal was thinkin.
AND I DID Say HE looks happy, didnt mention HER>

Thanks Eileen for the pics.
He looked great in the suit and silver tie. Calista dresses him very well. She must like him in long hair too. He does appear to be very happy. Every time they showed him in the audience he had a smile on his face.

he had the best seats in the house. And everytime someone won, I got to see him............. I LOVE when I can see him!!!!!!!!
Except for a minute there I htought Calista replaced him (when he presented) the seat filler did no justice to our dear Harrison.

I agree with you, Maria. He seemed to have a great time and wasn't so nervous, I think? Thanks for the pictures, Eileen.

I loved the fact that they kept showing those LOVELY close-ups of him all night! (Female camera-person, perhaps???) Calista looked ticked off or bored several times they showed her. I had the same thought about the car when I read that they would be arriving in a hybrid car, instead of a limo. (It's certainly NOT her precious Jag, now is it?) In the review of the Oscar fashions "Do's and Don'ts" they both got "Dont's" for their hair...his is just too long lately, he needs a haircut. Hers seems to be messy and with too much styling product at every event lately. Too bad, they looked great otherwise.

Yes, he looked really great and relaxed. Personally I like this hair cut. I have to confess I didn't looked to her. I only know she was there because of her pink dress. Hey, girls, things maybe have changed but in 98 a friend of mine interviewed Harrison in Hawaii and asked him if Melissa helped him to dress. He answered a big "Nooo !! I pick up my on clothes". But who knows! Love (?) can make many things change...
And yes, I believe it was her first big night in the Oscar, at least in the front row, and I think she would want to show her dress (she doesn't have to worry because everybody saw her), "her man", etc... Next time, maybe
The close-ups were fantastic, weren't they Pixel? :D
I counted 15 views of him total :D (some close, others I just looked for the pink dress as people were collecting their awards and found him). The seat filler was a MUCH younger guy who stood out to me, only because I was waiting for the filler to arrive to let me know when Harry's turn for presenting was :p
Also, one close up was during Michael Moore's memorable speech. When everyone else was booing this guy off stage, did anyone else notice Harrison laughing his head off? Obviously didn't take Moore too seriously, unlike most others.
just my thoughts.........

Unfortunately (gasp!) i missed the ceremony but hey i was there in spirit!
