HARRISON SLIMED -- AND A (SORT OF) NEW INDY TV-SPOT
Click above to see more pics in HFW Gallery 1
Harrison and Crystal Skull co-star Shia LaBeouf did presenter duty at the Nickelodeon 2008 Kids' Awards Show at the Pauley Pavillion in LA last night, and Harrison was presented with the show's ultimate honor: he was slimed. See pictures from the event at the HFW Gallery here.
Lucasfilm/Paramount also took the opportunity (read: paid for --) to present a new Indiana Jones TV spot at the Nick KCA Awards. Not much new compared to the already published trailer (#1, dd. Feb 14) -- with the exeption of a repartee much to our liking at the very beginning. Click play below:
You can download the TV spot in HD by right clicking the links below:
Empire Online published no less than five new pictures from their exclusive photoshoots with Messrs. Spielberg, Lucas and Ford today.
Included in tomorrow's on-print Indy Special is also a grand cover (top left) and a pic of Indy, Mac, Spalko and crew on their way into the warehouse we by now prefer to call Area 51 (below). Click on thumbs to enlarge and then head over to Empire Online or HFW Gallery 1 to see the rest. Also -- a sneak preview of the words; here's an excerpt from Empire's interview with Harrison:
Journalist: Are there any snakes in the new movie?
Ford: Yeah we got snakes and no, I don't hate them.
J: Why are all the old action heroes like Indy, John McClane and Rambo coming back?
F: It's jobs for older actors. It keeps us off the streets.
J: Can we talk about the roles you turned down?
F: You have to turn down roles to do other roles?
J: I read you regretted turning down 'Syriana'?
F: No, I don't regret turning down 'Syriana'. You should be careful about what you read. And what you write.
J: What is the difference between Han Solo and Indiana Jones?
F: I see a great difference. I think Indiana Jones is a much more complex character and provides the opportunity to explore a lot more of a character's personality and nature. Han Solo was a little dumb and not self-aware.
J: He's a space cowboy!
F: But there are cowboys and there are cowboys. If he's a space cowboy then he ain't from Brokeback Mountain.
J: What about Chewie?
F: What are you, French?

NEW OFFICIAL VIDEO: SHIA AS MARLON
New official video: see Shia LaBeouf in action: the most interesting part of the new featurette being his and the moviemakers' adoption of - and tribute to, Marlon Brando's classic 1953 The Wild One look and mannerisms -- including some impressing work with a nasty looking switchblade.
Shia ain't Marlon yet but he did do his homework. Looks promising indeed; click below to see for yourselves.
PS. Note the background music: Maestro John Williams. 'Nuff said
NO INDY 4 TRAILER THIS WEEK seeding a widget may win you world premiere tickets LaBeouf's smoking warrant
NO INDY 4 TRAILER THIS WEEK: The news seemed solid since it came from a normally well-informed source: the Hollywood Reporter: Reporter said earlier today that the second trailer for Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull would premiere at the end of this week and the news spread like wildfire thanks to a well-reputed news distribution giant, none other than Reuters.
Unfortunately, more than one newshound forgot the basics on this occasion: pick up the phone and check it up before you go live. UK movie magazine Empire did just that and Lucasfilm could confirm the following:
trailer #2 is still a little while away
Hollywood Reporter and Reuters had the facts wrong
The mentioned media have now corrected their reports.
SEED THE UPCOMING WIDGET: The other content of the news report more or less drowned in the hubbub: Paramount is counting on the small, portable applications called widgets that can be posted on blogs and social networks to maximize exposure. The company turned to widget provider Clearspring for Crystal Skull, and will
offer a contest with the release of the second trailer. The two fans who manage to distribute their Crystal Skull widgets most will win trips to the world premiere of the movie and the chance to be red-carpet correspondents in footage that will be streamed onto the Crystal Skull widgets after the premiere.
Paramount plans to launch the widget this week, but the studio declined to state when the new trailer will debut.
SHIA'S SMOKE WARRANT: Shia LaBeouf got busted recently for having had a puff (note: of nicotine) on the sidewalk outside a gift store. When he and his lawyer failed to show up for Tuesday's 8.00 am court hearing in Burbank, the judge issued a $1,000 bench warrant. An attorney appeared in court on Wednesday morning and entered a not guilty plea on Shia's behalf.
You can walk away from murder in California but smoking outdoors gets you busted, especially when you're a hot young star and there are potential big publicity rewards for everybody involved - from store owners to arresting officers and witnesses to the "crime". Our advice: Keep on puffin' Shia, if not just for the hell of it. Something besides the tobacco smoke makes a big stink here.

IESB.net reports that the makers of Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull are working on a second trailer targeted to premiere some time during April. IESB assumes mid-to-late that month.
A IESB editor attended a Paramount presentation on March 10 at the ShoWest Convention for theater owners at Bally's & Paris in Las Vegas. Unless the convention hall comm system had a bug or someone needed to clean a bit of ear wax, you might say the news comes pretty straight from the horse's mouth.

USA Today has just published the new official poster for Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull. The poster was revealed at the ShoWest Convention for theater owners in Las Vegas last night. To quote USA Today:
The new poster for 'Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull' confirms something alien is afoot.
The first poster for the film (due May 22) featured part of the title relic, but there was always something odd about the eye socket. In the follow-up, also by sci-fi/fantasy movie artist Drew Struzan, it's clear the skull is not at all human. Add to that the recent trailer, with its shot of a crate labeled "Roswell, New Mexico 1947," and you don't need to be a professor of archaeology to put the pieces together.
Other clues: Looks as if our hero will face his least-favorite animal and the locals at some Maya ruins. Karen Allen (who also was in 1981's original) seems to be enjoying herself, though.
Personal note: is that just us or has Indy now got a wee li'l bit in common with Gene Hackman's Popeye Doyle???
According to Riverdale, CA paper Press-Enterprise, the ten days of post production recording of the Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull musical score wrapped on Thursday March 6 at Sony Pictures Studios in L.A.
Entertainment Weekly published a new picture from Indiana Jones and the Temple of the Crystal Skull today. See the pic at the Entertainment Weekly website or see it big size (1280 x 791) by hitting the pic above.
FIRST CRYSTAL SKULL TRAILER A RUNAWAY HIT ....and the movie press is on the trend
Results on the HFW Poll
The first Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull trailer is a runaway hit. The trailer was seen over 200 million times worldwide within the first week of release and the biggest medium has been the internet.
This means that the reception has been highly positive also among the young, i.e those born after 1989 and the release of Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade. We have yet to see stats reflecting factors like e.g gender, cultural background and domicile but we may assume that the results are overly positive no matter the demographic factor.
The movie press is on the trend too: the latest issues of the UK's Empire Magazine have contained articles and great photos confirming a strong interest. The latest example is the Friday March 7 issue of Entertainment Weekly: the cover sports the perhaps most iconic portrait of Indy ever (from Temple of Doom) and announces an article aptly titled Indiana Jones. Why He's Still Hot. Inside the Legend That's Thrived for 27 Years.
We are naturally delighted to the point of delirium but the reception is a also a double edged sword (pun intended): Expectations and stakes are significantly heightened before the worldwide May 22 premiere and a failure to deliver will mean the biggest and most embarrassing splash in moviedom for a long, long, long time. No doubt the honored gentlemen and -women responsible know only too well and like them, we're crossing whatever can be crossed -- so far with a big grin on our faces.
House filmed in atmospheric add-on shoot in Pasadena on Feb. 29
A residential area of Pasadena, CA, was the scene of an add-on atmospheric shoot for Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull on Feb. 29. None of the primary cast members seemed to be involved but exec producer Frank Marshall was present -- and so were a handful of observant fans, who also got the chance to have a chat with Mr. Marshall. Read the on-site report by Adam McDaniel over at The Raider and see the pictures shot by fans Ricky, Andrew and Ryan at The Raider's user forum The Raven. Warning: the latter item contains a pretty big spoiler - if we're to believe everything Frank Marshall says.

TRANSPORT, F***ING BEN AFFLECK -- AND CANNES
TRANSPORT: Harrison and partner Calista Flockhart caught an unexpected ride after attending the 16th Annual Elton John AIDS Foundation (EJAF) Academy Awards
Viewing party on Oscar night. When their limo failed to appear and people started crowding them, deputies of the West Hollywood Sheriff Dept. offered a ride in the back seat of their squad car after deeming the situation a necessary "public safety measure".
F***ING BEN AFFLECK: Comedian and talkshow host Jimmy Kimmel got his revenge on girlfriend Sarah Silverman and her I'm F***ing Matt Damon video in his show after the Oscars broadcast: He assembled an impressive bunch of celebs for an I'm F***ing Ben Affleck gag. Guess one of the the smartasses instrumental in arranging the high profile turnout...... Tip #1: look for bumper stickers. Tip #2: he also appears singing (!!!)

CANNES: Fox News and other news media reported today that representatives of Steven Spielberg and the Cannes Film Festival are in negotiations to bring Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull to Cannes, That means Cannes will feature a screening preceding the already announced May 22 world wide opening. OSCARS NIGHT
Click to see more in HFW Gallery 1
Oscars night is just over, with winners in a mix of safe bets and the unexpected. One of the winners was among the safe bets: Brook Busey-Hunt a.k.a Diablo Cody. She won for her screenplay for Juno and Harrison Ford had the honor of presenting the award.
Harrison also appeared on Barbara Walters' Oscar Special and we were honestly a bit disappointed since there wasn't much we haven't heard before - but we note his reply to Walters' question on what he would like to be remembered for after this career:
"As a good collaborator, as a good partner, and I mean that in all aspects of my life: professional and personal. As somebody that put something into it."

A REMINDER ...and on broken hearts, George talks (history) too
Just a little reminder: Harrison will be appearing on Barbara Walters Oscar Special on Sunday Feb 24 at 7 pm EST and after the Oscars broadcast on the US West Coast.
At the VES Awards (l-r): Dennis Muren, Steven Spielberg, Douglas Trumbull
Steven Spielberg was awarded the Visual Effects Society Lifetime Achievement Award on Sunday (Feb 10). According to website Rotten Tomatoes, Spielberg reflected on Crystal Skull and admitted it had hurt to let it go:
"It was awful the last day of shooting because I didn't want it to end, Harrison didn't want it to end, Karen, none of us wanted it to end. It was one of the best experiences I've ever had."
Other than that the director stayed as mum as ever on the project and promptly referred the more inquisitive to the producers: ""Well, you'll have to ask my producer Frank Marshall and he's not talking. And George Lucas, and he never talks."
The latter is not entirely true George Lucas has just been heard on Good Morning America Radio on his interest in history and ABC was kind enough to have a camera on duty as well as the mike. Hit Play below to see and hear George talk:

HAT AND JACKET ....and Happy Birthday to John Williams
Click above to see video at the official Indiana Jones site
A new interesting video appeared at the official site yesterday: Harrison's preferred costumer Bernie Pollack gives us a fascinatiing runthrough of some of the work done and the principal suppliers involved in recreating Indiana Jones' iconic fedora and bomber jacket outfit.
Be prepared to see some really enticing (and murkily moist) teasers from the KotCS set -- including what just might be an ultra short glimpse of John Hurt sporting long, greasy hair and a poncho more than one continent away from Armani.
On behalf of everybody at HFW: Happy Birthday to Master Composer John Williams on his 76th birthday yesterday!!!
Harrison's been busy on the awards circuit lately, in the capacity of an award presenter as well as an awardee - all within a couple of days.
Feb. 2: Harrison as an award presenter
The 2008 PGA Awards:
Harrison had the honor of presenting the Producer's Guild of America's David O. Selznick Achievement Award in Theatrical Motion Pictures to Kathleen Kennedy and Frank Marshall at the Beverly Hilton Hotel on Feb. 2.
Harrison was honored at the same place (the Beverly Hilton) a couple of days later - on Feb. 5: Producer Mace Neufeld (the Jack Ryan series) had the pleasure to present him with this year's International Cinemato- graphers Lifetime Achievement Award.
Roughly a week before the long awaited Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull trailer is expected to appear there is a whole lot of skullduggery going on -- on the Net.
Website Action Figure Insider opened the ball by publishing a flyer showing upcoming Indiana Jones items keychains from Japanese supplier Takara Neduke on Friday Feb.1. Today, website MovieWeb published a scoop closeup of what they claim is a the crystal skull McGuffin in Indiana Jones 4. Click on images below to enlarge:
For the sake of comparison, we took the Drew Struzan teaser poster and insterted the skull picture from MovieWeb just to see how it looked:
Click to enlarge Original teaser poster (l.) and teaser poster with MovieWeb skull inserted (r.) Photoshop work by the undersigned
We conclude that the similarity is too obvious to be concidental and that traditional skull elongation by binding (& trepanation), general dolichocephaly or Marfan's Syndrome isn't quite enough to explain this somewhat mean lookin' baby.
As if the above wasn't enough: Official tie-in supplier OfficialPix announced a new limited edition Indiana Jones 11x14" photo in their blog today - complete with a genuine Harrison Ford signature to be added tomorrow Feb 6 - at the measly sum of USD 459.99. The really interesting part is the skinny Indy shares the photograph with:

THE OTHER EMPIRE PICTURE FROM INDIANA JONES 4
Click to enlarge Front : Cate Blanchett, Harrison Ford. Background: Andrew Divoff (left) and Pavel Lynchnikoff (right)
The below mentioned article in the March 2008 issue of Empire Magazine contains another new (and great!!) photo. At last Cate Blanchett in action as Irina Spalko - and Harrison looking scruffy - the Indy way.
The guys in the background are interesting. We believe the actors are Andrew Divoff (left) and Pavel Lynchnikoff (right), Both speak excellent Russian (Lynchnikoff is a native Muscovite; Divoff is Venezuelan but speaks half a dozen languages fluently, Russian among them); both could be seen manhandling Indy in the first official video (from the shooting in New Mexico).... Now for the really interesting part: they are dressed in US uniforms. (The name tag on Lynchnikoff's uniform ends in --evelt. Roosevelt ??)
Let's say we draw the inevitable conclusion and we won't be the least surprised if one of the characters' name is really (highlight to make visible) Dovchenko.
PS. Divoff and Lynchnikoff have portrayed many Russian or Russian heritage characters on TV as well as on the big screen, they've also worked with Harrison before: remember Air Force One??

A Soviet RPG-2 Grenade Launcher
UK's Empire Magazine publishes a new picture from Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull (KotCS) in their March 2008 issue, which hits the streets on tomorrow. Regular subscribers should have it already.
Producer Frank Marshall told Empire that Steven Spielberg is "pretty much" done editing and that John Williams starts scoring the movie in February. He also said that KotCS is tonally related to Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade when it comes to bantering between the characters.
We find Indy's weapons upgrade interesting; as far as we can judge, the bigger gun is a Soviet RPG-2 Grenade Launcher (these blowtubes aren't really called 'a bazooka' since the Bazooka is a specific US WWII line of grenade launchers.) The RPG-2 was in Red Army use from 1949 - 1962, The weapon is also known to many South East Asia veterans since it was licenced to a number of countries, notably The People's Republic of China (there called type 56) and (North) Vietnam (types B40 / B50).
The later RPG-7 - today's favorite among insurgents of all calibers - weren't in regular Red Army use until 1961.
We notice that the picture setting is rainforest - and guess that the threesome's transport is also courtesy the Red Army. That assumption is based on Hawaii set pictures (found here) and pictures of the upcoming tie-in Lego sets (pictures here).
Big thanks to HFW member -Jones- for the magazine scan and tips/corrections on RPGs (we first assumed the launcher was a RPG-7 despite the post 1957 service date. A correct service period and a more thorough study of the trigger of the RPG in indy's hand has made us go for the RPG-2.)

RYAN UPDATE: MEREILLES TO DIRECT BY ANY MEANS BECESSARY?
Brazilian director Fernando Mereilles
Brazilian website Cinema em Cena, confirms the rumor that Golden Globes and Oscar nominated Brazilian director Fernando Mereilles (City of Gods, The Constant Gardener, City of Men) "is considering" an offer to direct By Any Means Necessary - and that he hasn't decided yet.
The director is presently finishing Blindness (an adaption of Nobel Prize winner José Saramango's novel Ensaio Sobre a Cegueira (starring Julianne Moore, Mark Ruffalo, Gael García Bernal, Danny Glover, Alice Braga and Sandra Oh) and has Love's Labors Lost in development. The latter is a loose adaptation of Shakespeare's comedy based on Jorge Furtado's 2006 novel of the same name (Trabalhos de amor perdidos). If realized, Mereiiles will direct and produce.
Fernando Mereilles is also involved as a producer in three additional projects: Uprising (2008), Xingu (2009) and Round Trip (2009). Getting him on Ryan would certainly be a fresh take. Mereilles sure knows how to wield a high quality thriller way beyond content-free boredom.
ONE RYAN RUMOR DEBUNKED, A NEW RYAN IN THE MAKING?
Top:Harrison Ford, Philip Noyce Bottom: Ryan Gosling, Antoine Fuqua
A rumor was shot down this weekend: Harrison Ford and director Philip Noyce are not reteaming to revive the Jack Ryan series in By Any Means Necessary. The source: Philip Noyce himself - at the G'Day USA Black Tie Gala in L.A on Saturday Jan. 19, where Noyce was an awardee. Who presented the award to him? Harrison Ford. (See pictures here)
The rumor has been on the grapevine since the failure of Sum of All Fears (starring Ben Affleck as Jack Ryan) Sum was originally set to be directed by Noyce with Harrison starring as Jack Ryan, but Harrison pulled out of the project for script reasons - and Noyce followed suit. The two were replaced by Ben Affleck and director Phil Alden Robinson -- and the results were less than satisfactory.
Paramount owns the right to do movies on the Jack Ryan character, but they do not own the rights to Tom Clancy's novels. It's no big secret that Tom Clancy never fancied Harrison as Jack Ryan and that he rather saw him replaced by someone else. Nevertheless - money talks. Clancy developed a followup to Sum of All Fears called Red Rabbit before Sum went into production and was clearly not unhappy when Harrison walked. With the failure of Sum, Rabbit, Clancy - and Ben Affleck - were put into cold storage.
Paramount obviously still feels there's money in the Ryan franchise and Philip Noyce was working briefly on a followup to Harrison's last outing as Ryan (Clear and Present Danger in 1994). The followup was to be called By Any Means Necessary - and the fact that Noyce was working on it inevitably fostered the rumor that Harrison would be signing up to revive the Ryan character with his original director. Now we know that neither Noyce nor Ford are attached to this project, nor is Noyce working on it anymore and this is what he confirmed on Saturday night.
However - Noyce did indicate that Paramount still wants to do more Ryan, but that they're working to find a "young Ryan" replacement. He had "heard" that the choice could very well be 27 year old Canadian Ryan Gosling (Lars and the Real Girl) - and if ever realized, the script will not be based on any of Tom Clancy's novels or other work.
By chance, Paramount picked up a script by Daniel Pyne in 2005. This script was called By Any Means Necessary but it was not about Jack Ryan. Naturally there's speculation that is the script Noyce was working on, trying to to turn it into a Ryan relaunch. The original Pyne script is about a cop who turns to a jailed mobster for insider information in order to stop a terrorist attack
There is a project listed on IMDb Pro with the same title and the original Pyne plotline. The project is confirmed and is listed as "in development". There's yet no cast, no mention of Philip Noyce and 2009 is set as the opening frame. Director Antoine Fuqua (of music video fame, also the the original choice as director of American Gangster) will be at the helm.
To us the indicating clue (despite titles -) is found, or rather not found - on the producers list: Mace Neufeld - key producer for all four previous Jack Ryan movies - honored with a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame for (among other things) his Ryan involvement. On Neufeld's plate for 2009 - with the Weinsteins: The Equalizer, a big screen treatment of the classic TV show about the veteran covert operative who, seeking redemption for his dark deeds, quits a CIA-like agency and puts a classified advertisement in the paper that reads simply: "Got a problem? Odds against you? Call the Equalizer."
Take as is, but we find the lack of Neufeld on By Any Means Necessary pretty decisive. We willl, however, follow Gosling, Fuqua - and Neufeld - with considerable interest.

Black tie alert: It's time for the yearly Australia.com Black Tie Gala and honors. This year's honors are presented to to Kylie Minogue and director Philip Noyce for "significant contributions in their respective industries and for excellence in promoting Australia in the U.S".
The award presenters are none other than John Travolta - and Harrison Ford. The event is due this weekend: Saturday January 19 at the Hollywood & Highland Grand Ballroom in Los Angeles.
Minogue was recently honored with an OBE (=Order of the British Empire) for her career and work for victims of breast cancer - and confesses to being a fan of the musical Grease. Noyce directed Harrison in his outings as CIA agent Jack Ryan in Patriot Games and Clear and Present Danger. He was also responsible for the lauded and much awarded The Rabbit-Proof Fence and The Quiet American.

INDIANA JONES TIE-IN PRODUCTS SPOILERS GALORE
...and Topps IJ Heritage Sketch Cards Overview Flyer
It's no secret that security on Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull has been tight but there have been major leaks. The first came from Shia LeBeouf already when he was in top secret negotiations for the part as Mutt. The next came when an unfortunate extra talked too much to his hometown newspaper.
The former is now the industry's upcoming golden boy and is obviously forgiven his previous sin, the latter was dragged to court for his big mouth and the case was settled on undisclosed terms. The extra's hometown newspaper probably got a friendly call and prompty protected their online interview with a required registration feature (userid and password)
The other major leaks have come from the major players in the tie-in game, notably Lego and Hasbro - mainly in the form of presskits, newsletters or 2008 catalogs to their distributors. Many of these companies' distributors have their own websites - and that's how the information hit the Net and a potentially big audience.
It goes without saying that people hired by Lucasfilm directly have to sign a cover-it-all non-disclosure agreement. The tie-in partners obviously don't and for an equally obvious reason: Lucasfilm can't very well force a blatant non-disclosure down the throats of companies they don't control. But we admit our moral instincts are piqued: we don't know the terms of the Lucas Licencing tie-in contracts but it is not unlikely they might contain some sort of agreement on not to publish material containing information on KotCS until an agreed date and perhaps even penalty for breaches of contract.
Nevertheless, terms or not: major spoilers are now out in the wide open - and they remain and have remained there with no apparent effect on the spoiler sources: the major tie-in partners.
We don't know what's going on at the moment in the various board rooms and we're pretty sure the legal terms have been fullfilled to the dot - but this still doesn't smell good: one individual - an extra - gets his tongue tied and has his professional reputation destroyed. Major (and loaded) business partners and friends seem to get away with it. Who knows; perhaps allowing the spoilers to stay is even part of the overall marketing strategy - -
We know well there's precious little help in howling at the moon when serious business is involved but we choose to do so anyway: This is unfair; also unwise re: in-house morale and company reputation in the long run.
One company that has remained solidly on safe ground so far is Topps. We got in a new flyer from them last night, showcasing an overview of the sketch cards available in their Indiana Jones Heritage series. Click thumb below to see the flyer bigger size:

RUMOR: HARRISON IN LINCOLN???
The Man After Lincoln: Andrew Johnson
The latest on the rumor mill: Is Harrison the actor Steven Spielberg has in mind for the role of Andrew Johnson, the Vice President who became President when Abraham Lincoln was murdered on April 15, 1865???
Steven Spielberg probably has the busiest agenda in Hollywood: no less than four heavy post Indiana Jones 4 projects have been reported as being on the director's pad: Tintin (a series of three movies in collaboration with Peter Jackson, two of the them have been officially announced), Chicago 7 (Spielberg's next official project), Interstellar and Lincoln.
Lincoln is based on the biography by Pulitzer prize winner Doris Kearns Goodwin, with an original screenplay by John Logan, Paul Webb and Tony Kushner. Looking at the list of other central people behind the camera is an experience of serious dejá vu: Producers: Spielberg and Kathleen Kennedy. Music: John Williams, Cinematography: Janusz Kaminski, Editor: Michael Kahn. Already cast in the title role as Abraham Lincoln: Liam Neeson, who is and has been doing extremely thorough preparations for the role. (Let us add that on top of our personal wishes list is Johnny Depp as John Wilkes Booth - not that that is ever going to happen. Depp is extremely busy until 2010, he also doesn't come for free.) Preliminary release date of Lincoln is listed as 2009 but it is by no means certain.
This is a project we're really enthusiastic about: in our opinion Harrison would fit like a hand in a glove in the Andrew Johnson part and not only for the uncanny physical likeness. With the Sebastián Cordero Manhunt project in limbo (where Harrison was cast as Col. Everton Conger) Lincoln would also be a wonderful chance for Liam Neeson and Harrison to show what they're really made of after the artistically successful but financially failing K-19 The Widowmaker in 2002. (And getting the excellent Johnny Depp on board would have been nothing less than marvellous!!!)
Here's news for you collectors and/or nostalgia fans out there: Venerable trading card producer Topps Co. is introducing their Indiana Jones Heritage series in Fabruary.
