Second KotCS Trailer

CRYSTAL SKULL TRAILER #2!

Weekend yummy; the second trailer for Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull  just got available at the official Indiana Jones site.

More of the basic plot re: the McGuffin (the plot device=the crystal skull) is revealed in visual form; we get a couple of good glimpses of John Hurt as Professor Harold Oxley, the dreaded Colonel Dovchenko, an unconventional ride for our guy -- and a young man in peril.

If you want a more detailed synopsis, we recommed a look at the now active The Film menu item at the official Indiana Jones site

Time to click play below...and notice how a grin will start to spread across your face whether you want it to or not:

Yet another Crystal Skull TV spot has appeared: a variation on TV Spot #2 - with one new scene (Mutt climbing a branch) and a line we heard just parts of in the last TV spot. The full version is going to enter Indy history as a classic: "Get on, Gramps."

The muttering Mutt is shaping up indeed :) Apologies for the video quality, we hope to have this clip up in better resolution very soon. Big thanks to Lorrie for the find!!!

Cowboys and Indians

COWBOYS AND INDIANS

June 2008 Issue
Harrison is featured in the June 2008 issue of Cowboys & Indians Magazine.

Click here to read an article taster or see your local news agent to get the rest. We can, however, divulge a little extra: Here's Harrison on an older Indy and a hope for the future:

"What astonishes me", Ford says, "is that people can't imagine Indiana Jones aging at all. Why expect any character to be frozen in time? The appeal of Indiana Jones isn't his youth but his imagination, his resourcefulness."

"His physicality is a big part of it, especially the way he gets out of tight situations. But it's not all hitting people and falling from high places. My ambition in action is to have the audience look straight in the face of character and not at the back of a capable stuntman's head. I hope to continue that no matter how old I get."

Thanks to Steven for the tip!

Chest Deforestation

CHEST DEFORESTATION

We never thought we'd see this - but Harrison's been getting a chest wax job. No, we're not into the lewder part of privacy infringement: the highly surprising and public stunt was done for a good purpose.

Harrison is shooting a new PSA for Conservation International and the theme is deforestation. The creative idea: to create an analogy between Harrison's chest and the depletion of the irreplaceable rainforests on planet Earth.

The PSA is shot my none other than Janusz Kaminski and we'll be featuring it as soon as it's available. Meanwhile: visit the refurbished CI webpages (we recommend a visit - and why not sign up for their e-Newsletter??) and here's Access Hollywood on the shooting of the PSA, click play below:
