Harrison is among the role models in Reader's Digest Best of America feature in the magazine's May 2008 issue. Harrison speaks - among other things - on Indiana Jones and getting older, on the blessings and the privilege of having young children, conservation and his need for challenges and intellectual stimuli. See your local news agent or read the interview by clicking here

The Indy 4 promo machine is shifting into higher gear; magazines pretty much everywhere and the Net is flowing over with Indy stuff. Mostly old news but there are a few exceptions: Britain's Total Film featured an interesting interview with George Lucas in their latest issue and they have a couple of new photos in their upcoming June 2008 issue. See your news agent or head over to milenniumfalcon.com to read the Lucas interview and HFW Gallery 1 to see the latest pictures.

Big grats are indeed due to our colleagues over at theraider.net. Earlier this year they topped Entertainment Weekly's list of the Best Fan Sites on the Net; now they're an official nominee at this year's Net Oscars: The Webby Awards.

The Webbys have a People's Voice option: we, the net audience, can have a say in the final choice of winners. So why not support webmasters Gilles and Mitchell, theRaider community and the great work they do by heading over to this page and register; once that's done and you're logged in, click the Websites icon and then look under Celebrity/Fan. You'll find theRaider among the top nominees in that class. Vote!!!!

Weekend Roundup

HURT CONFIRMS: SKULL OPENS IN CANNES

John Hurt was one of the guests on Friday Night With Jonathan Ross on BBC One (TV) this weekend. Hurt was really there to talk about his latest movie The Oxford Murders but his host managed to sneak in a few Crystal Skull questions. Hurt confirmed that the movie will open in Cannes on May 18 and all he would say about his own part is that plays "a man". He is also full of praise re: Harrison Ford.

Read the full article from BBC News (NB! The Abner Ravenwood reference is courtesy the BBC and not Mr. Hurt). In case you missed the show you can download and/or watch it with the BBC iplayer (works for UK based IP addresses only.)

LATEST MAG & INTERVIEW NEWS:

Harrison is featured on the front cover of the May issue of Men's Journal (warning: the front cover stinks but the pictures inside are great, see them in the HFW Forum.)

He was also featured in a surprisingly funny interview in Germany's Bild am Sonntag today, A couple of brand new Harryisms (translated by us from the German):

You started riding a motorbike at 45 and took up flying at 50. What do you have up your sleeve at 65??
Brain research, perhaps??

You're the owner of six planes. What do you do with (all of) them?
I fly through the air.
