On Transport, F***ing Ben Affleck -- and Cannes

TRANSPORT, F***ING BEN AFFLECK -- AND CANNES

TRANSPORT:
Harrison and partner Calista Flockhart caught an unexpected ride after attending the 16th Annual Elton John AIDS Foundation (EJAF) Academy Awards Viewing party on Oscar night. When their limo failed to appear and people started crowding them, deputies of the West Hollywood Sheriff Dept. offered a ride in the back seat of their squad car after deeming the situation a necessary "public safety measure".

F***ING BEN AFFLECK:
Comedian and talkshow host Jimmy Kimmel got his revenge on girlfriend Sarah Silverman and her I'm F***ing Matt Damon video in his show after the Oscars broadcast: He assembled an impressive bunch of celebs for an I'm F***ing Ben Affleck gag. Guess one of the the smartasses instrumental in arranging the high profile turnout...... Tip #1: look for bumper stickers. Tip #2: he also appears singing (!!!)

 CANNES:
Fox News and other news media reported today that representatives of Steven Spielberg and the Cannes Film Festival are in negotiations to bring Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull to Cannes, That means Cannes will feature a screening preceding the already announced May 22 world wide opening. As of writing, no official confirmation has yet been issued.

This year's Festival takes place May 14 - 25.

Happy Europeans?? Wrong, a good number of us just went completely off the scale!!!

 Oscars night is just over, with winners in a mix of safe bets and the unexpected. One of the winners was among the safe bets: Brook Busey-Hunt a.k.a Diablo Cody. She won for her screenplay for Juno and Harrison Ford had the honor of presenting the award.
 
Harrison also appeared on Barbara Walters' Oscar Special and we were honestly a bit disappointed since there wasn't much we haven't heard before - but we note his reply to Walters' question on what he would like to be remembered for after this career:
"As a good collaborator, as a good partner, and I mean that in all aspects of my life: professional and personal. As somebody that put something into it."
