Lena Olin Online

Got a nice treat for visitors this evening. Jule who maintains the fabulous site Lena Online has partnered up with Harrison Ford Web and Jule has contributed some nice new photos to the Gallery.

Added 4 new pics to the 15th Annual Environmental Media Awards
Added 3 new pics to the 34th Annual Humanitarian Awards
New Section: Candid 2005. Added 5 recent pics of Harrison out and about. (forum member Maria had also sent in two of these photos and I want to thank her also.)

Note about Candid pics. These are just of him holding a cup of coffee and it does not show him with kids or having a private moment with Calista. The main reason I wanted to share these is to show how great he looks as I know there are jabs at him for being out a shape (including me) but these photos prove the man is in shape and looking just dandy.

As many of you know Jule at one time had a wonderful Harrison Ford site but has now decided to use her talents (and yes, she is extremely talented) on her Lena site. I hope you check it out and as you know Lena co-starred with Harrison in Hollywood Homicide (for me she was the spark in that movie.) Check it out.

Frisco Kid coming to DVD February 14th, 2006

Slowly but surely all of Harrison's movies are making their way to DVD and The Frisco Kid is one that many fans have been waiting for. The DVD will retail for $14.95 so don't look for the set to be loaded with a lot, if any, extra features. I would say that if the sales of this release are promising this might convince Warner Brothers to come out with a set filled with extras.

Here is what the press release had to say about The Frisco Kid.

"The Frisco Kid" -- This cult comedy favorite set in the 1850s Wild West stars Harrison Ford as a bank robber and Gene Wilder as a naive Polish rabbi. Wilder plays the immigrant who begins a horseback journey cross country to lead his new congregation, knowing only that California is "somewhere near New York."

The Frisco Kid was released in 1979 and here is HFW's film page

Yesterday Harrison attended the 34th Annual Humanitarian Awards in which Calista was honored the HopeLine Corporate Award for their outstanding domestic violence awareness campaigns. Hayley from Calista Online has come through yet again with some fantastic pictures from this event. She was kind enough to allow us to feature 12 photos from this event and they are now in the gallery. I have made these into three different sized photos for those with dial-up connection.

Large
Medium
Small

Calista Online has 38 photos from this event and I just got word from Hayley that she will be adding more this weekend. Visit her gallery. You know, I thought having almost 4,000 pictures at this site was pretty good that is until I saw Hayley has over 12,000.

Yesterday Harrison attended the 15th Annual Environmental Media Awards in California and Hayley over at Calista Online was kind enough to send over 11 terrific pics of Harrison.

What I have done is put in the gallery 3 different sizes becuase I know many visitors have a slow connection and the large sizes would slow you down. No need for that!

Small Size (14 pictures)

Medium Size (14 pictures)

Large Size (11 pictures)

The 11 pics we have are not over at Hayley's site but in the small and medium size I added three extra. Hayley has at the moment 36 high quality pics from this event and I encourage you to head over there and enjoy. That is after you get your eyes full of what we have.

Calista Online Event photos

Also, Harrison will be attending an event tomorrow in which Calista will be honored. Read more about this event in the forum

UPDATE: The Hollywood Reporter has also mentioned and confirmed the Manhunt report posted earlier. Read article Since it looks like this project is going forward I have created a folder for Manhunt in the forum. Check it out A film page will be going up shortly.

Ain't it Cool news has some more info on Manhunt.

At a recent press conference for Luis Mandoki's Innocent Voices, Producer Lawrence Bender (who is also producing Manhunt) announced that Sebastian Cordero would be directing Manhunt and that filming will commence next year. Lawrence also said that Andrew Marlowe would be rewriting Mike Rich's script. I'm pretty excited to see Harrison working with Sebastian and although he is not well known to the mainstream audience, he does have a nice following with the independent/foreign crowd which is a good indicator that he is going to make a worthwhile film.

Andrew Marlowe has worked on a Harrison project before as he wrote Air Force One. Below are some helpful links to learn more about these two.

Sebastian's IMDB profile
Andrew's IMDB profile

Special thanks to Andrea for the link.
